Properties that count particles — freezing point, boiling point and osmosis.
Dissolve something in a solvent and four of its properties shift by an amount that depends only on how many particles you added, not what they are. These simulations let you measure those colligative properties — read a cooling curve to find the depression of freezing point, and use ΔTf = i·Kf·m to weigh a molecule you never see — while the van't Hoff factor reveals whether the solute stayed whole, split into ions, or paired up.
